[Digital Today reporter Ji-young Lee] iM Bank said on Feb. 10 it will expand the scope of non-face-to-face issuance for its liquor purchase-only card and, to mark the change, introduce a new design.
The liquor purchase-only card is a product launched to secure transparency in liquor transactions and improve the financial soundness of liquor companies. It is a debit card for retailers to settle payments related to liquor sales between sellers and buyers.
iM Bank introduced a non-face-to-face issuance service for the liquor purchase-only card in 2024, the first among banks, and has issued the card to new customers through the iM Bank app.
With this expansion of the non-face-to-face additional issuance service, customers can now use the iM Bank app not only for new issuance but also for reissuance and additional issuance, improving convenience. It will also be offered with a new design alongside the expansion.
An iM Bank official said, "We aim to provide customer convenience by upgrading services for the liquor purchase-only card we issue for fair liquor transactions, and we will continue to provide various services to expand customer convenience."
