Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, said on Sunday that Baemin B Mart has been selected for the "2026 agricultural and livestock discount support programme" hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corp (aT).

The programme is a public-private initiative aimed at promoting consumption of domestically produced agricultural and livestock products and supporting farms. It was designed to reduce consumers' grocery burden during a period of high prices while expanding sales channels for Korean farm and livestock products. Under the programme, the agriculture ministry supports the cost of discount coupons, and Baemin B Mart handles additional product discounts and promotional activities to boost sales.

Baemin B Mart plans to help expand sales channels for Korean farms through fast delivery. In the first Lunar New Year event, running through Feb. 16, it will sell key seasonal items and major Korean agricultural and livestock products, including Korean beef, Korean pork, apples and pears, at discounts of up to 40 percent. It will later roll out item-specific discount promotions in stages.

Hyojin Lee (이효진), head of the commerce division at Woowa Brothers, said, "Baemin B Mart offers instant delivery, so there is no need to worry about delayed deliveries such as during parcel backlogs, and the freshness of products is excellent." She added, "As the cost of preparing holiday ritual tables and buying gifts rises every year in an era of high prices, we will make this event a flagship promotion that can ease customers' holiday burden."
