Hecto Healthcare's functional food brand Kim SeokjinLAB said on Feb. 9 it has launched four new adult-tailored products. The lineup consists of rTG omega-3, Pure Vitamin D 1000 IU, Pure Vitamin D 4000 IU and All-in-One Multivitamin 23 Max.

The products contain nutrients needed in everyday life and use global ingredients. They also take into account Korean dietary habits and delivery in the body.

Kim SeokjinLAB rTG omega-3 applies rTG-type omega-3, which has a high absorption rate in the body. It uses the Norwegian GC RIEBER ingredient "VIVO MEGA" and contains a combined 600 mg of EPA and DHA. The company said it was designed in a 15 mm mini size to reduce discomfort when swallowing.

Pure Vitamin D was launched in two dosages, 1,000 IU and 4,000 IU. It uses Swiss ingredients from dsm-firmenich (formerly DSM) and applies vitamin D3, which it said has strong activation and absorption in the body. It uses NON-GMO ingredients without genetic modification. It was designed in a 10 mm mini size to improve ease of intake. The 1,000 IU product is at 250 percent of the daily nutritional reference value, and the 4,000 IU product was set to the adult daily upper intake level.

All-in-One Multivitamin 23 Max contains 23 vitamins and minerals. It can fill nutritional balance once a day. It was designed with high doses of 7 B vitamins essential for energy metabolism, containing up to 1,000 percent. Water-soluble vitamins that do not accumulate in the body were included in sufficient amounts, while fat-soluble vitamins with accumulation concerns were set at the recommended 100 percent level.

Kim Seokjin (김석진), CEO of Hecto Healthcare, said essential nutrients can easily become lacking in modern society due to changes in living environments and dietary habits, making it important to sufficiently fill basic nutrition in daily life. He said the four new products in the adult lineup reflect a nutrition design focused on basics, based on the philosophy of "good light, good oil and good bacteria."
