LG Uplus said on Feb. 8 it has prepared a promotion for customers traveling during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The promotion, running through Feb. 28, offers benefits including Korean Air in-flight WiFi vouchers, double overseas roaming data and 150,000 won in cashback.

Customers who apply for a roaming pass priced at 44,000 won or higher, which provides up to 17GB of data, will receive a Korean Air in-flight WiFi voucher and double roaming data.

Customers who want to participate can sign up for a roaming pass and then apply to receive the benefits through the event menu at the U+ official online store. The WiFi voucher will be sent by text message only to customers flying on Korean Air aircraft that support in-flight WiFi.

LG Uplus Roaming Pass can be shared by up to 5 people including the subscriber. Assuming use of the 44,000 won roaming pass that provides up to 17GB, each person can use more than 3GB for less than 10,000 won per person.

Customers who spend 200,000 won or more at online and offline overseas merchants with a Korean Air card will be eligible for up to 150,000 won in cashback. They can check eligible cards and merchants in the benefits menu at the U+ official online store and apply for the cashback.

LG Uplus said it plans to create a wider range of customer value through cooperation with Hyundai Card, starting with this promotion.
