Naver will significantly expand the scale of support for creators on its short-form service Clip.

Naver said on Thursday it will select participants for the 2026 Clip Creator Program starting Feb. 7. The program has been revamped from recruitment in five-month cycles to a year-round operation.

The selection will start at 10,000 creators and expand to as many as 20,000. The activity period has been extended from February to December. It aims to create an environment for creators to produce content and grow over the long term within the Naver ecosystem.

Naver also strengthened its creator compensation system. Selected creators can receive benefits worth up to 900,000 won a month, including activity fees and awards. Through a dedicated app, they can also access support for content production, performance analysis and an advertising incentive program, allowing them to transparently track the monetisation process.

Naver Clip is showing steep growth. As of December 2025, views rose 2.2 times from a year earlier and content output increased 2.6 times, reaching an all-time high.

Kim Ah-young (김아영), a Naver Clip leader, said, "Based on the significantly expanded scale and activity period, we will support creators so they can make high-quality content and grow," adding, "We will help users enjoy various trends on Naver Clip."
