SK Broadband will run its 'Welcome! TVterior' promotion from Feb. 6 to offer various benefits to new subscribers to its 'AI 5 set-top box' and 'Giga WiFi 7' to mark the New Year.

The promotion runs through April 30 for new subscribers and offers benefits including free IPTV dispatch fees regardless of contract term, Naver Pay gifts regardless of contract term and discounted fees for a security package with a three-year contract.

Customers who subscribe to the AI 5 set-top box and a B tv Standard plan or higher, with 235 channels, can receive the free IPTV dispatch fee benefit. Those who sign up for 'B tv All+ (255 channels + B tv+)' or 'B tv Standard+ (235 channels + B tv+)' will receive an additional 10,000 won in Naver Pay.

The AI 5 set-top box applies on-device AI technology based on a neural processing unit (NPU) to automatically adjust picture quality and color by scene. It also includes a function that upscales standard content to 4K-level quality and an AI sound function that enhances voice clarity. It features a minimalist design with a diameter of about 10 cm and an ultra-low power design with standby power consumption of around 1 watt. The monthly rental fee is 7,700 won based on a three-year contract.

Benefits are also available for customers who sign up for Giga WiFi 7. The Giga WiFi 7 router, launched in January, offers speeds that are twice as fast as existing models. It uses a flat antenna design that hides external antennas inside.

Subscribers to the integrated 'Secure Giga WiFi 7' product, which includes harmful site blocking, virus treatment and remote inspection, will receive a 2,200 won monthly fee discount for 2 months.

A limited-edition Pleats cover for Giga WiFi 7, limited to 2,000 units and created in collaboration with the eco-friendly brand Pleatsmama, is also offered. The gift will be provided to customers who subscribe together to the integrated Secure Giga WiFi 7 product, a B tv Standard plan or higher and the AI 5 set-top box.

An SNS review event will also be held. Customers who newly sign up for both Giga WiFi 7 and the AI 5 set-top box and upload an installation review on SNS will receive 30,000 won in Naver Pay. Additional prizes, including a seventh-generation iPad Air, will be provided if selected as an outstanding review.
