CJ OliveNetworks said on Friday it had won a project to build a next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for South Korean food company Hansung Enterprise.

CJ OliveNetworks will apply ERP implementation know-how and a proven methodology tailored to the food and distribution industries to the project. It will support efforts to connect Hansung Enterprise’s entire value chain through data to secure real-time management visibility and maximise operational efficiency.

The project will strengthen administrative convenience through real-time HR insights analysis using standardised data. It will improve transparency and efficiency by standardising procurement processes. It will also enhance profitability analysis by product and customer. The work will establish field-focused process management and a sales and operations planning (S&OP) system. It will also pursue visibility through real-time monitoring of inventory and sales and a breakthrough improvement in management accounting operations.

Jang Woo-jung (장우정), head of food and bio at CJ OliveNetworks, said the project was an important initiative to lay a digital foundation for Hansung Enterprise’s sustainable management innovation. He said the company would become a successful partner by supporting Hansung Enterprise’s successful DX based on extensive business experience in the food sector and proven IT capabilities.
