Viva Republica, operator of Toss, said on Jan. 30 it held an online App in Toss webinar on Jan. 29.

The webinar, titled "Making and monetising games with AI", drew about 1,420 advance registrants. That was more than 40 percent higher than its first webinar last year, which was analysed as reflecting a rise in developers exploring App in Toss as a practical business opportunity.

The event focused on sharing practical strategies based on real success cases and data. It also detailed know-how for maximising development efficiency using AI.

As a case study, Sublevel Games CEO Hwan-hee Kim (김환희) spoke on "How I made 20 App in Toss games as a solo developer". In the next session, Soo-hyun Kim (김수현), business development manager for Toss App in Toss, spoke on "What games that delivered results on App in Toss have in common".

App in Toss provides HTML5-based services that can be launched instantly within the Toss app without a separate app installation or download process.

A Toss official said developers' interest was hotter than expected as partner companies' success cases spread by word of mouth. The official added it would continue to create a developer-friendly environment, including technical support, to build a healthy ecosystem that grows together with partner companies.
