[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] AI CRM company Salesforce said on Jan. 29 it has unveiled MuleSoft Agent Fabric, a next-generation product that can integrate and manage AI agents and tools dispersed across enterprises.
The update includes a function that automatically discovers and identifies AI agents in multi-cloud environments, supporting increasingly complex corporate AI operations. According to market research firm IDC, the number of AI agents in actual operation worldwide is expected to surge 40-fold from 2025 and exceed 1 billion by 2029. As a result, integrated management capabilities have emerged as an important factor.
With this in mind, Salesforce explained it expanded the management scope of MuleSoft Agent Fabric and strengthened capabilities for integrated management of AI agents distributed across multi-cloud environments.
MuleSoft Agent Fabric supports connecting and managing AI agents and tools distributed across cloud and on-premise systems. Through this, companies can integrate AI agents operating in various environments into a single system and expand the scope of AI use in an environment with robust security and governance, Salesforce said.
Park Se-jin (박세진), head of Salesforce Korea, said: “For successful AX (AI transformation), the key goes beyond simply introducing high-performance AI models. It lies in how organically fragmented AI assets can be connected and controlled.” He said MuleSoft Agent Fabric serves as an “AI control tower” that integrates agents scattered across multi-cloud environments into a single ecosystem and will play a core role in helping domestic companies focus on business innovation itself by overcoming the limits of technical complexity.
