[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee] KB Kookmin Bank said on Thursday it will run an event titled “Add a gift to subsidies that support children and families.”

The event targets customers who have no record of receiving government-paid parental allowance and child benefit into their own KB Kookmin Bank demand deposit account from July to December last year.

To take part, customers click the apply button on the KB Star Banking event page and choose 10,000-won mobile voucher for Baedal Minjok or a 10,000-won Olive Young gift card. If they first receive at least 100,000 won in parental allowance or child benefit into a KB Kookmin Bank demand deposit account in their name during the event period, they will receive the selected gift.

As a bonus event, customers who register family customers through KB Star Club family linking will be entered into a draw. The bank will provide 500,000 won in “reassuring childcare support” to 1 winner in each of 5 rounds. The event runs until June 30.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, “This event was prepared to provide practical benefits and enjoyment to customers receiving government childcare costs.” The official added, “We will continue to expand diverse financial services and benefits that accompany families’ precious daily lives.”
