Webzen said on Jan. 22 that its new open-world action RPG Dragon Sword has recorded the No. 1 spot in the Apple App Store popularity ranking.
Dragon Sword began official service on Jan. 21. It ranked No. 5 on the afternoon of its release day and climbed to No. 1 from midnight on Jan. 22.
Dragon Sword is a game that lets players engage in flashy combo action-based battles in a highly open open world.
To mark the No. 1 ranking, Dragon Sword plans to give all game members 10 "Brilliant Goddess Stones" that can be used to summon characters.
It is also running various events for new game members at the same time. Players can take part in 6 events, from attendance rewards to mercenary corps level and request achievements, to earn character summoning materials and key growth items depending on gameplay progress.
