Wemade Max said on Tuesday its subsidiary Wemade Connect signed a publishing contract with partner Fluffy Duck for the new mobile subculture RPG 'Make Drama: MAD'.
'Make Drama: MAD' is a new subculture RPG in which players collect girl characters. It features a real-time 2D battle system in which the flow of the battlefield changes depending on character combinations, strategy and decisions, and a story structure centered on building bonds with characters. It also uses a visual novel-style dialogue system in which users' choices and reactions are reflected in episodes, with content focused on building relationships with characters.
Wemade Connect and Fluffy Duck signed the publishing contract to launch 'Make Drama: MAD' in the domestic subculture market. Fluffy Duck will handle development, while Wemade Connect is set to take charge of overall service and operations. The two companies plan to present a high-quality service based on systematic cooperation and their respective expertise.
'Make Drama: MAD' will hold a closed beta test on OneStore's Beta Game Zone for 4 days from March 12 to 16.
After the beta ends, a separate survey will be conducted, and participating users will be selected by lottery to receive 10,000 OneStore points. During the test period, the official 'Make Drama: MAD' cafe will also offer additional benefits to participants through a separate event.
Wemade Connect CEO Ho-dae Lee (이호대) said, "We expect to be able to provide a service optimized for users by combining both companies' development competitiveness and operational know-how." He added, "We will grow it into a title that continues to be loved by users by maintaining the game's unique character while ensuring stable operations."
'Make Drama: MAD' plans to actively gather user feedback through this beta, improve completion, and then launch officially in the domestic subculture market this year.
