Automation World 2026, a smart manufacturing innovation industry exhibition that highlights technology trends in South Korea's manufacturing, logistics and industrial sectors, will be held for 3 days from March 4 to 6 at the full Coex venue in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

The event is jointly hosted by the Korea Association for Industrial Intelligence, the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Group, the Korea Machine Vision Industry Association, Cheomdan, and the Korea International Trade Association.

AW 2026 will debut an AI Factory special zone for the first time this year, putting the spotlight on the latest AI technology trends across the manufacturing industry. Global smart manufacturing innovation companies in physical AI and AI services will take part in the zone and present AI solutions that support the implementation of next-generation smart factories. Participants include Doosan Digital Innovation BU, CJ OliveNetworks and Posco DX.

Cho Sang-hyun (조상현), Coex president, said AW 2026 will be an exhibition where visitors can most quickly see how future technologies highlighted at CES are being used in industrial sites in South Korea, a manufacturing powerhouse. He said the show will offer an opportunity to experience on site a shift in the manufacturing industry paradigm from automation to autonomation.
