Sixshop, a website and online shopping mall creation service, said on Sunday it has formally opened a Template Store following the Block Marketplace launched in August last year. It said it will support creators in generating revenue by selling website templates.
The Template Store will operate as a marketplace, offering templates that Sixshop previously provided for free and allowing templates produced by Sixshop’s official partners to be listed and sold. Creators can convert their templates into digital assets.
Sixshop said it is focusing on building an ecosystem where creators can commercialise their templates and earn revenue, in line with rising demand for website production.
Lee Sang-min, Sixshop’s chief executive, said the Template Store is designed so that web production outcomes do not remain one-off projects and can expand into ongoing revenue opportunities for creators. He said the company will strengthen a web production ecosystem that provides practical value to both creators and users through the Block Marketplace and Block Maker, an AI production tool.
