KB Securities held its '2026 KB Securities Management Strategy Workshop' on Jan. 16 at the Fairmont Ambassador hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, it said on Sunday.
In the first session, titled 'The Stage of KB Stars', the firm introduced newly appointed executives and deputy branch managers and branch managers. It also presented awards to branches that delivered strong performance in 2025.
In a special lecture that followed, the company invited professor Lee Sedol to speak on "how to embrace the AI era".
In the second session, aligned with the workshop's main theme, participants shared the direction of the 2026 management strategy and key execution plans by core businesses. KB Securities presented specific action tasks to lead the market based on differentiated competitiveness, while advancing its existing growth strategy.
Kang Jin-doo, co-chief executive officer of KB Securities, said 2026 would be "a year that starts with change and is completed with action". He said what the company needs now is immediate execution and that it must put it into practice as a unified 'One KB'.
