NCSoft said on Jan. 15 that its Lineage Classic will open additional servers for pre-creating characters.
Lineage Classic began pre-character creation at 8 p.m. on Jan. 14. The initial 10 servers and five additional servers were all filled early. NCSoft will add five more servers at noon on Jan. 15 to meet user demand. Players can install Lineage Classic on NCSoft’s game platform Purple and create a character in advance.
Players who take part in pre-character creation can choose the server, class, gender and attributes, and reserve a character name. Lineage Classic pre-character creation is available only once per account, regardless of server. Character names cannot be duplicated within the same server.
Lineage Classic is a PC game that recreates the early-2000s version of Lineage, which NCSoft has operated since 1998. It will begin a free pre-service in South Korea and Taiwan on Feb. 7, and will be playable from Feb. 11 under a monthly subscription service priced at 29,700 won.
