Cardano (ADA) has closed weaker for three straight sessions, making whether it can hold the $0.20 support level a key near-term variable.

On Oct. 28, blockchain outlet The Crypto Basic reported that ADA has given up major moving averages and a rising trendline in succession, heightening the risk of further losses.

The market is focusing on the current price range as a technically sensitive zone. ADA moved near $0.2034 on the day and stayed below both the 50-day exponential moving average at $0.2240 and the 200-day exponential moving average at $0.2434. The rising trendline that had supported previous rebounds broke down near $0.2398.

That has put the $0.20 area as the first line of defense in the near term. Crypto analyst Zen Trade said $0.2000 is an important support level and that if this psychological level is broken, $0.1894 could open as the next downside target. On the chart, the area is marked as a horizontal support level.

Analysis pointed to $0.1533 as the next support zone. Analyst Kevin Mercer has previously pointed to the possibility of a slide to the $0.15 level before year-end, saying a zigzag pattern appeared on a recent ADA chart. That would mean this scenario could gain weight if the current support level breaks.

Technical indicators are still tilted toward weakness rather than a buying reversal. The relative strength index, or RSI, slipped to around 35, signalling weakening momentum. It has moved closer to oversold territory but has not yet reached 30, a typical oversold threshold. That has led to the view that it is difficult to confirm an immediate rebound based on indicators alone. The moving average convergence divergence, or MACD, also stayed below zero, sending a signal that bearish momentum continues.

The possibility of a rebound has not disappeared completely. If buying flows back in and ADA recovers $0.2240, where the 50-day exponential moving average sits, the short-term trend could change, and the next checkpoint would be near $0.2398, where the broken rising trendline stood. But with the 200-day exponential moving average at $0.2434 still ahead, a meaningful recovery would require prices to climb back above that level as well.

Cardano has entered a phase where a limited rebound and medium-term weakness are appearing together. As a result, even if a short-term rebound emerges, downside risks are expected to remain the market’s central variable until it is confirmed whether the $0.20 level holds and major moving averages are regained.

Cardano extends the decline ADA hovers just above $0.2000 after three straight bearish closes, trading below the 50-day EMA ($0.2240) and 200-day EMA ($0.2434) after losing the rising trendline near $0.2398. RSI ~35 (near oversold) and MACD below zero keep downside pressure intact. A break under $0.2000 targets $0.1894, then $0.1533. Resistance: $0.2240 → $0.2398 → $0.2434. Not financial advice.
