NH Nonghyup Bank has begun developing an artificial intelligence (AI) financial secretary. It plans to introduce the service on mobile banking in December and expand it next year to face-to-face consultations at branches.
NH Nonghyup Bank said on Oct. 20 that it held a kickoff briefing on Oct. 19 with its AI-specialised subsidiary AgileSoda for a project to build a "customer-facing AI agent".
The core service, the "WM AI agent", will use customer asset information connected through MyData to provide customised market information and comprehensively analyse assets and liabilities. It will also support investment portfolio diagnosis and design, as well as tax-saving strategies using individual retirement pensions (IRP) and pension savings, among others.
It is also developing a "jeonse loan agent" that supports customers from preparing a jeonse contract through after move-in, and a "consumer protection agent" that provides information to help prevent financial fraud.
The bank plans to first introduce non-face-to-face wealth management, jeonse loan and consumer protection services on NH All One Bank in December, then expand them to face-to-face wealth management at branches in February next year.
It will also 추진 10 AI innovation tasks with AgileSoda, including comparing loan audit documents and compliance checks for marketing content. A chatbot that integrates financial information by channel, including banking and cards, is planned to undergo tests in December and be officially launched in March next year.
An NH Nonghyup Bank official said, "We will enable customers to use professional wealth management services through an AI financial secretary."
