Albamon, a part-time job platform run by Workspere, said on Monday it has launched “Albamon Smart Pick”, a hiring solution that uses AI to match suitable applicants.
The company said Albamon Smart Pick recommends suitable job postings by predicting jobseekers’ likelihood of applying. Its AI algorithm calculates similarity and forecasts the likelihood of applying based on jobseeker and posting data, and then recommends postings.
It is Albamon’s first performance-based hiring solution. Unlike existing products that charge exposure fees by period, the hiring budget is deducted only when a jobseeker clicks a posting.
AI selects the jobseekers who will see the postings. The company said it improved recommendation accuracy by reflecting jobseeker behaviour data more broadly than JobKorea Smart Pick, which has been in operation since October last year. Hiring budgets are set directly by employers. They can choose from suggested amounts or enter a desired amount, and the application step provides the usage period and the expected number of applicants by budget. When a budget is used up or the usage period ends, the posting automatically stops and any remaining budget is refunded.
The cost per click is also automatically adjusted by AI. Workspere stressed that unlike JobKorea Smart Pick, which applies similar unit costs by posting, it was designed to narrow gaps between expected and actual performance.
JobKorea has continued to upgrade “Smart Pick” since introducing the pay-per-click hiring solution last year. Workspere, which operates JobKorea, Albamon, JobPlanet and Ninehire, plans to apply Albamon Smart Pick’s AI algorithm to JobKorea Smart Pick as well.
