Pinda is expanding a business that links customer interest and demand identified on its financial platform to insurance consultations. It is working with insurance permission specialist The Yeolsimhi to support everything from identifying potential customers to confirming their willingness to consult, widening customer acquisition routes for insurers and corporate insurance agencies (GAs).

Pinda said on Oct. 20 it is working with The Yeolsimhi to expand a model for identifying customers and linking them to consultations in the insurance industry.

Under the partnership, Pinda will use its experience operating a financial platform to find new touchpoints with potential customers. The Yeolsimhi will handle permission operations to confirm customers' willingness to consult. The companies said this will help insurers and GAs secure customers likely to lead to actual consultations.

Pinda explained it is focusing on finding customers with a high likelihood of leading to consultations and visit appointments, rather than simply increasing the number of potential customers. It aims to use customer interest and demand formed on the financial platform to provide customer touchpoints different from existing insurance sales channels.

An assessment of consultation-linking results also emerged from the insurance sales field. A manager in charge of DB partnerships at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Financial Service said, "The share of Pinda DB that leads to visit appointments has been stably higher than existing levels."

Pinda plans to improve the customer identification and consultation-linking model by reflecting feedback and usage experience from the insurance sales field, and to expand the scope of cooperation step by step to insurers and GAs.

A Pinda data business manager said, "We will continue to develop a customer identification model that uses a financial platform."
