Cyber threat management company Naru Security said on Oct. 20 it will unveil its AI web defense service ZeroTiCA Lite Web, expanding its existing firewall log-based breach assessment technology to the web domain.
Naru Security said it developed ZeroTiCA Lite Web because it views continuous checks of an organisation's security posture on the premise that it may already have been compromised as key to responding to AI-driven attacks.
According to the company, ZeroTiCA Lite Web is a subscription-based breach assessment service that uses AI to analyse large volumes of logs generated by corporate web servers and services, track attack traces and anomalous behaviour, and continuously evaluate and verify breach status and potential attack risks.
Users can analyse links between repeated attacks and anomalous behaviour that people can easily miss in massive logs. They can identify the overall flow of attacks and signs of compromise beyond individual events. The analysis is conducted from four perspectives: verification of past breach traces, identification of the current attack status, prediction of future targets, and AI-based automated threat determination.
Kim Hyuk-joon (김혁준), Naru Security's chief executive, said AI is a powerful tool not only for attackers but also for defenders. He said applying AI to cyber defence can build an autonomous defence system that protects a broader range. He added the company will continuously verify organisation-wide threats and security status with advanced AI defence services to secure business visibility and lead the AI threat response market.
