Sparrow will take part in Security Days Fall 2026 in Tokyo from Oct. 21 and showcase Sparrow MCP, an AI-generated code security assistant.
Sparrow aims to use the event as a starting point to speed up the expansion of Sparrow MCP in the Japanese market.
Sparrow will also operate its own booth (B22) and plans to showcase Sparrow Enterprise, an integrated application security testing solution, in addition to Sparrow MCP.
According to the company, Sparrow MCP connects with AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code to help AI generate secure code. Once code is generated, it analyzes source code and open source, and provides information on open-source licences and vulnerabilities to verify security from the code-generation stage.
Sparrow Enterprise is an integrated application security testing solution that analyzes and manages source code, open source and web vulnerabilities in a single environment. It automatically generates software bills of materials, or SBOM, in various formats, including SPDX and CycloneDX.
At the event, Sparrow's local partner VeriServe will also speak and present vulnerability management measures for responding to the European Union's Cyber Resilience Act, or CRA, with a focus on Sparrow.
Sparrow CEO Il-soo Jang (장일수) said he hopes Sparrow MCP will help improve security efficiency at the development stage in the Japanese market, where digital transformation and AX transformation trends are continuing. He said the company will use this Security Days event to strengthen cooperation with local partners to support Japanese companies in responding to the CRA and strengthening software supply chain security.
