LG CNS said on Oct. 19 it was named a “Major Player” in global market researcher IDC’s “2026 Worldwide Digital Workplace Services (DWS) Vendor Assessment.”

The evaluation included 18 global IT companies, and LG CNS was the only South Korean company to be listed.

IDC MarketScape is an evaluation model that comprehensively analyzes companies’ current business capabilities, future strategies and customer experience. IDC cited LG CNS’ strengths as AI-native platform capabilities, expertise in security and network separation environments, and delivery capabilities spanning consulting through deployment and operations.

LG CNS is providing various functions through its agentic AI-based work innovation service “a:xink,” including enterprise work portals and groupware, AI interpretation and translation and meeting support, and document writing.

LG CNS said that applying the service to overseas workplaces of LG affiliates in the United States, China, Singapore and Germany improved work productivity by 20 to 40 percent. It estimated that combining shorter work time and lower licence costs versus foreign solutions would generate annual cost savings of several tens of billions of won.

Kim Hong-geun (김홍근), head of LG CNS’ Digital Business Division, said, “This selection is highly meaningful in that our digital workplace service competitiveness has been recognized in the global market.” He added, “Based on agentic AI, we will raise customers’ work productivity and strengthen our market position.”
