NCSoft said on Wednesday it is starting advance character creation for Lineage Classic.
From 8 p.m., all users can install Lineage Classic on NCSoft's game platform Purple and create a character in advance. Through Jan. 27, they can choose a server, class, gender and stats and reserve a character name.
Advance character creation for Lineage Classic is available only once per account regardless of server. Character names cannot be duplicated on the same server.
NCSoft also opened a new “Class” menu on the Lineage Classic brand website. Users can check detailed information on “Monarch,” “Knight,” “Elf” and “Wizard.” If a nickname of a well-known character from the past, listed under the existing “Hall of Fame” menu, is created in advance, users can also see an effect in which the name shines brightly.
Lineage Classic is a PC game that implements an early 2000s version of Lineage, which NCSoft has been operating since 1998. It will begin early free service (pre-open) in South Korea and Taiwan on Feb. 7, and will be playable from Feb. 11 on a monthly subscription (29,700 won).
