OneStore is introducing a platform reward called ONEdia and revamping its user benefits system.

OneStore said on Oct. 14 that users can accumulate ONEdia through the 'Free Charging Station' in the OneStore app.

ONEdia is a reward that users can earn by taking part in promotions in the OneStore app and then use as a discount when buying apps and games. It integrates the existing 'OneStore Point Plus' and can be used together with other benefits such as discount coupons.

Users can earn ONEdia by taking part in advertising missions offered through the Free Charging Station. Earned ONEdia can be used immediately when buying apps or games on OneStore.

From early next month, ONEdia will also be applied to participation rewards for OneQuest, a game marketing promotion service.

OneQuest is a user participation-based promotion service that OneStore introduced in July. It provides rewards when users install featured games or meet preset conditions.

OneStore plans to gradually expand ways for users to earn and use ONEdia while playing games and taking part in promotions. It is also preparing measures to increase user benefits in partnership with game companies.

Hyun-kuk Jang (장현국), chief executive officer of OneStore, said, "ONEdia is a reward that can be earned and used across the platform," adding, "We will make it established as a gamification currency for the game platform itself, like diamonds inside games."
