[Digital Today reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Practical AI company Muhayu, which understands natural language, said on Tuesday it has launched a “writing verification” feature that records the writing process and allows users to check writing grounds when they create text on CopyKiller. Writing verification is available for free on CopyKiller.

Users can write in the CopyKiller document editor without installing separate software. While writing, activities such as typing, editing, deleting and pasting are automatically recorded. Users can check the logs along with the completed document without separately filming or saving the writing process.

According to the company, writing verification analyses about 150 detailed activities, including typing speed, input intervals and cursor movement, and provides a report on whether the text was written directly. It also offers a replay function that lets users review input, edits and deletions in chronological order.

Muhayu said it also plans to add a “document comprehension assessment” that checks whether the author actually understands the content of a submitted document.

Muhayu CEO Dong-ho Shin (신동호) said, “As generative AI is used to create writing and answers, it has become difficult to judge the writing process or actual capabilities based on results alone.” He added, “Starting with writing verification and adding document comprehension assessment, we will solve problems that arise from AI use one by one.”
