Daishin Songchon Cultural Foundation said on Tuesday it visited nine locations including Naju City Hall in South Jeolla province, a family centre, Eorin Eomma Dungji and Ihwa Infant Home to deliver “love donations.”
Support will be concentrated on near-poor disabled allowance recipients in Naju and vulnerable households left out of care services, as well as low-income infants, children and adolescents as the future generation.
The donations were personally overseen by Lee Eo-ryong, chairman of Daishin Financial Group. Lee previously delivered a “love donation” in person to Goesan county in North Chungcheong province in November last year.
“We will spare no support for local children and adolescents,” Lee said. “We will faithfully fulfil a company’s social responsibilities through a range of social contribution activities,” he added.
