Part-time jobs platform Albamon said on Sept. 7 it opened a "Chuseok part-time jobs recruitment hub" ahead of the Chuseok holiday period.

Albamon is running the hub by collecting short-term postings of less than 3 months in sectors and occupations where demand is concentrated during the Chuseok season. At the top of the hub it placed five popular categories: department stores and outlets, marts and traditional markets, store management and sales, packaging and logistics, and courier and delivery. It is structured so jobseekers can check postings in the sectors and occupations they want.

Jobseekers can set their preferred work region and period conditions to search for postings that fit them. Using the "AI matching filter" function, they can also check postings that match their conditions based on their profiles and activity history.

The hub is available to anyone on Albamon’s website and app. Postings are expected to be continuously updated through Sept. 27, when the holiday period ends.

An Albamon official said demand has been steadily increasing both from jobseekers looking for short-term part-time work around Chuseok and from employers seeking to quickly secure staff. The official said it hopes the hub will help jobseekers find jobs that fit them, as it is set up to allow users to review postings by sector, occupation and working conditions.
