Enterprise AI operating system (OS) company Wonderful said on Monday it raised $550 million, or about 770 billion won, in a Series C funding round. The round valued Wonderful at $5 billion, or about 7 trillion won.

The investment was led by global venture capital firm Insight Partners. Salesforce and existing investors including Index Ventures, IVP, Vy Capital, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners also joined the follow-on investment.

Wonderful has expanded its business footprint to more than 35 markets worldwide since its Series B funding round in March. It also increased its global workforce to about 650 employees.

The company is expanding its enterprise AI business around its "Wonderful AI OS". The AI OS is a platform designed to manage AI agents and workflows within companies, AI-native applications, integration with business data and systems, and governance in a single operating environment.

Wonderful plans to use the new funds to develop its AI OS products and expand its global business. It will also expand its field deployment engineer (FDE) team to support on-site AI implementation for customers.

Bar Winkler (바 윙클러), Wonderful's co-founder and chief executive, said, "Enterprise AI transformation is entering a new phase." He added, "Just as cloud platforms became the core infrastructure of modern companies, AI operating systems will also become a new operational foundation for enterprises."
