iM Bank to expand mutual growth fund with KOGAS to 60 billion won
iM Bank will triple the size of a mutual growth fund it operates with Korea Gas Corp to 60 billion won from 20 billion won. The two institutions plan to contribute 30 billion won each to support funding for small and medium-sized companies and small merchants in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang region. iM Bank said it expanded an agreement on the fund on Oct. 29.

NH Nonghyup Financial to push regional close-to-home finance project in second half
NH Nonghyup Financial Group will promote a “regional close-to-home finance project” as a key task in the second half of the year. It plans to expand investment and lending to region-specific industries and companies and focus group capabilities on easing the financial burden of vulnerable groups and delinquent debtors. The group reviewed second-half plans at a special committee meeting in Seoul and said it supplied a total of 14 trillion won in productive and inclusive finance in the first half.

LG Innotek runs 143 billion won mutual growth fund
LG Innotek said it held its 2026 Mutual Growth Co-Prosperity Day in Seoul and signed fair trade and mutual growth agreements with about 100 partner companies. The company said it will support partners in finance, ESG and training. It said it set up a 143 billion won mutual growth fund offering lower rates than commercial banks and has provided 262 billion won cumulatively. It will also continue smart factory support and expand training programs.
