ChatGPT works better when you ask how a plan can fail first
Using ChatGPT for planning is becoming more common, but its advice often fails to reflect real-world variables and unexpected risks. A recently highlighted method, the so-called “invert prompt,” addresses that gap by asking the tool to explain how a plan could fail before offering recommendations. Examples include weekend schedules, workplace productivity routines and dinner preparation. The approach aims to prevent failure rather than craft a perfect plan, leading to more practical guidance.
