Snowflake to acquire enterprise MCP firm Natoma to support secure AI agent connectivity
Snowflake said on May 29 it will acquire Natoma, an enterprise Model Context Protocol (MCP) platform company for AI agents. Snowflake said the deal will help it build a native integrated governance and identity layer that can access AI agents and MCP tools. It said customers will be able to connect Cortex Agents, Snowflake Intelligence, Cortex Code and other AI platforms to SaaS applications, cloud environments, VPCs and on-premises infrastructure through a validated MCP server library.

SailPoint adds new integration with Claude Compliance API to support enterprise AI governance
Enterprise identity security company SailPoint said on May 28 it will launch a new connector integrating with Anthropic\'s Claude Enterprise Compliance API. The company said the connector provides visibility and governance so companies using Claude Enterprise can securely manage access to and use of the AI platform. It applies SailPoint identity security to the Claude Enterprise environment to help adopt AI while maintaining security and compliance standards.

Okta steps up features aimed at AI agent security
Okta unveiled new security features designed for AI agents, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday. The company said it beat market expectations with fourth-quarter 2026 revenue of $761 million and earnings per share of 90 cents. Okta launched Auth0 for AI Agents to protect AI agents and non-human identities and updated its identity governance platform. Okta reported 2026 fiscal-year revenue of $2.919 billion and EPS of $3.50, up 12 percent from a year earlier.
