Alibaba unveils its own Zhenyu V900 AI chip, plans to expand data centers to 20 GW by 2032
Alibaba unveiled its self-developed AI chip, Zhenyu V900, and set out a plan to expand Alibaba Cloud\'s global data center capacity to 20 GW by 2032. Chief executive Eddie Wu said the new chip is three times faster than the previous Zhenyu M890 and can link up to 500,000 chips for advanced AI training. Alibaba has approved spending of more than $53 billion over three years on AI and cloud infrastructure.
