iPhone 18 Pro: Four pro-grade shooting features spotted in iOS 27
Apple may add a range of professional shooting features to the iPhone’s default camera app. Items for advanced functions were found in iOS 27 beta code, including a histogram, waveform monitor, focus peaking, highlight clipping warnings and manual focus. The code also suggests a timer mode that shoots multiple photos at intervals and a lens-correction option tied to aperture values. The features are not active in the beta and could change or be removed.

Zcash activates Ironwood mainnet upgrade, halts new inflows to Orchard
Zcash has activated the Ironwood upgrade on its mainnet and halted new inflows into the existing private pool, Orchard. Zcash Open Development Lab said the upgrade went live at block height 3,428,143. Orchard is shifting effectively to a withdrawals-focused state, with remaining funds required to pass through a “turnstile” structure to move to Ironwood. The upgrade also targets an Orchard vulnerability reported in late May, with no confirmed signs of exploitation.

Zcash Ironwood upgrade may be delayed amid lack of infrastructure readiness
Zcash is considering delaying its Ironwood network upgrade scheduled for late July, amid concerns that exchanges, mining pools and wallet providers may not have enough time to prepare for the software transition. Shielded Labs\' Jason McGee said on the Zcash community forum that the Ironwood upgrade and the shift to the Z3 stack are happening at the same time. Participants must replace zcashd with a Z3 stack made up of Zebra, Zaino and Zallet.
