Shinhan Financial to support up to 3 million won for young people repaying microfinance loans
Shinhan Financial Group is launching an asset-building support programme that refunds part of loan repayments to customers who repay youth loans from the Shinhan Miso Microfinance Foundation without delinquency. Applications for the \"asset-building support payment\" will be accepted from Sept. 4 through the foundation. Eligible borrowers are those who took out \"Youth Future Link\" or \"Youth Operating Funds\" loans from April 1 and remain current. The programme provides up to 3 million won.

Woori Financial relocates microfinance hub to Changsin-dong to boost support for alleyway retail districts
Woori Financial Group is relocating its microfinance base to Changsin-dong, an area with many small merchants, to expand on-site inclusive finance. The group moved the Woori Smile Microfinance Foundation’s Seoul branch from Euljiro and held an opening ceremony. It plans to add local hubs to raise branches to 12 from 8 and launch a self-reliance programme selecting 200 stores. Woori also aims to increase annual microfinance supply to 20 billion won by 2028.

Woori Financial launches Youth Future Link Loan to expand support for young adults
Woori Financial Group will contribute an additional 100 billion won to the Woori Smile Microfinance Foundation and launch the Youth Future Link Loan for unemployed and newly employed young adults from March 31. It also plans a social contribution programme, Sae Hope Store, to support young entrepreneurs. The group will expand microfinance branches outside Seoul, relocate some to traditional markets and other small business clusters, and strengthen tailored counselling.
