Andreessen Horowitz says privacy key to blockchain rivalry in 2026
Andreessen Horowitz said privacy will be a core factor in blockchain competition and predicted that networks with strong privacy features will gain a long-term advantage. A16z Crypto general partner Ali Yahya said global finance can fully move on-chain only if privacy is guaranteed. The venture capital firm said privacy can drive network lock-in because private data is harder to move than assets. Executives also highlighted decentralized encryption, open protocols and encrypted secret management.
