AI agent-based chip design startup ChipAgents raised $50 million in a Series A1 funding round, securing total funding of $74 million, SiliconANGLE reported on Feb. 18. The company is developing a platform that uses AI agents to automate chip design and verification to shorten development cycles. ChipAgents said its agents repeatedly read specifications, break down goals, discuss solutions and validate results.
