Movie Scene Map puts film, game and anime locations on one world map

A new website, Movie Scene Map, lets users find filming locations for movies and dramas and story settings for games, anime and comics on a world map. Using Wikimedia Foundation’s collaboratively edited database Wikidata, it links works to real places. The site lists more than 15,500 locations across 166 countries, along with over 9,200 films and dramas and more than 2,100 games, plus anime and comic information.

Cloudflare launches Kitesurf browser for AI agents

Cloudflare has launched Kitesurf, a cloud browser designed specifically for AI agents rather than consumers. It is built to let AI navigate websites, fill out forms and handle other browser-based tasks, allowing developers to build AI software without creating separate browser software. Kitesurf runs on Cloudflare’s Workers platform and is offered free during beta through Browser Run. Cloudflare says it uses CPU and memory more efficiently than Chromium for common agent tasks.

WikiLeaks\' Bitcoin adoption seen as 15-year test after Visa and PayPal block

WikiLeaks\' decision to accept bitcoin in 2011 is drawing renewed attention as a first major case showing cryptocurrency could bypass blocks in traditional financial networks. After the “Cablegate” disclosures, WikiLeaks lost access to major payment and remittance providers including Visa, Mastercard and PayPal, wiping out about 95 percent of its income. It then solicited donations via bitcoin addresses, a move later followed by services such as WordPress and the Internet Archive.
