LG HelloVision builds experiential tourism cooperation model with interior ministry, Wando County

LG HelloVision signed an agreement with South Korea\'s Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Wando County to build a cooperation model for experiential tourism linked to the Hometown Love Donation scheme. The project aims to combine Wando\'s local resources with LG HelloVision\'s local media capabilities to turn outside visitors into a resident population. The partners will develop experiential return gifts such as camping stays and marine healing programs and promote Wando nationwide through local channels.

Hana Bank to pursue Wando Geumil offshore wind farm with KOSEP

Hana Bank said on Feb. 27 it signed a business agreement with Korea South-East Power on Feb. 26 to advance the Wando Geumil offshore wind project, a 600-megawatt wind farm planned off Geumil-eup in Wando County, South Jeolla Province. The two sides will review the project structure and risk factors from before the project-financing stage and seek cooperation across development, construction and operations. Power produced is expected to be used by electricity demand sites such as AI data centres.
