Nvidia expands AI push into broadcasting with real-time slow motion, lip sync

Nvidia has expanded its Nvidia AI for Media toolkit for broadcasting, sports coverage and global streaming. The company said the suite can handle video frame generation, upscaling, athlete motion tracking, real-time lip sync and voice enhancement within a single AI pipeline. New video frame generation can double or quadruple frame rates by creating intermediate frames. It also introduced 8K upscaling, real-time SDR-to-HDR conversion, 3D body pose tracking, speaker detection and audio cleanup tools.
