KT to tighten network management during summer holiday season, set up on-site repair teams by region
KT will intensively manage communications quality at major tourist destinations and transport hubs to prepare for large-scale travel during the summer holiday season. The company said it will run a nationwide network quality monitoring period from late July to the end of August, covering crowded areas such as beaches and campsites. KT will strengthen real-time traffic monitoring, optimise base station facilities and conduct prevention activities for weather-related damage.
