Naver invests in drone firm Ubify to target smart cities and public sector
Naver said on Sunday it has invested in global drone specialist Ubify as it seeks to expand a “physical AI” ecosystem combining autonomous flight drones and artificial intelligence. Ubify specialises in drone swarm flight technology and autonomous flight platforms, and recently won the “$10 million export tower” award. Naver said it will pursue synergies between its AI, cloud and digital twin capabilities and Ubify’s drone hardware and operational technology.
