Volvo EX60 production hits snag, U.S. deliveries may slip to next year
Volvo’s new electric SUV EX60 is facing production disruptions, with output stuck at about 10 percent of its original target. The company is encountering manufacturing problems related to batteries and electric motors as it ramps up production at its Torslanda plant in Sweden. Limited supply is being prioritised for Europe, complicating plans to sell about 7,000 units in the United States this year. Large-scale U.S. supply is seen possible only in the second half of 2027.
