TikTok expands support for live music creators, linking online and offline performances
TikTok said on March 30 it will expand support programmes this year for music creators active on TikTok Live. The company said the number of domestic music live creators rose by about 10 times over the past year after it ran music events and creator development programmes. TikTok plans to build a structure that helps creators form fandoms, link online activity to offline performances and create a growth path that could extend to global stages.

TikTok to hold \'Agency Championship\' with Kakaofriends
TikTok said on Feb. 26 it will hold \'Agency Championship with Kakaofriends,\' a first-of-its-kind domestic competition for live agencies. The event will run from March 2 to 15 and is designed to activate the live content ecosystem through participation by creators, agencies and viewers. Creators will earn points from broadcast time and virtual gifts, with agency scores determined through preliminaries and a final. Winners will receive benefits including special goods and advertising exposure in Seoul.

TikTok to push music live agency incubation programme, supporting 50 startups a year
TikTok said on Tuesday it will work with the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA) to 추진 an incubation programme for live agencies that plan and operate music-focused TikTok Live content. TikTok said it aims to help startups in music and entertainment produce high-quality live and short-form content through systematic creator management. The programme will run twice a year, with 25 firms selected each half. Graduates can become TikTok Live partner agencies after a formal contract.
