MSIT to invest 234.2 billion won in 2026 convergence core technology development programme
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Jan. 15 it had finalised a 2026 implementation plan for its convergence core technology development programme worth 234.2 billion won and would push ahead with the initiative. The plan targets convergence research, high-temperature superconductivity, supercomputers, science and technology AI and humanoids. It includes four new projects and continued support for programmes spanning basic development, verification and scale-up, with further details on new calls to be posted later this month.
