Korea Investment Securities joins Gunsan AI data centre development
Korea Investment Securities will take part in an artificial intelligence data centre development project in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province, as a financial investor and lead financial manager. The firm said it has set up a public-private cooperation framework with Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, Gunsan city and SGC Energy. The parties plan to build a 60-megawatt AI data centre and aim to start construction this year. Korea Investment Securities will invest directly and arrange project financing.
