NXP launches processor to digitise core vehicle functions
NXP Semiconductors said on Jan. 7 it unveiled its S32N7 ultra-integrated processor series at CES 2026. The company said the 5-nanometre processor digitises core vehicle functions and can remove dozens of hardware modules by integrating software and data into a single central hub, cutting total cost of ownership by up to 20 percent. Bosch applied S32N7 to its vehicle integration platform and is sampling the top model S32N79 to customers.
