Runway launches AI model router amid intensifying generative media competition
Runway has launched “Runway Media Router,” a tool that automatically selects generative media models. TechCrunch reported the feature is offered through Runway Dev, the developer platform Runway unveiled earlier this month, and connects Runway’s own models with external image, video and audio models via APIs. Developers set priorities such as quality, speed and cost, and the router picks a suitable model. TechCrunch said the move reflects a shift toward generative media infrastructure.
