Vibe coding makes app building almost free, but monetisation depends on market know-how
Vibe coding using AI has sharply lowered barriers to app development, but generating real revenue depends less on code and more on understanding the market, product quality and distribution strategy, an analysis said. Rocapine CEO Stan Marchand said most development can be automated, while the remaining work by humans determines profitability. He pointed to metrics such as cost per install, paid conversion and early retention, and stressed licensing checks, privacy safeguards and verifiable data.
