Encore PlayData offline training students top 3,500

Encore, an AI and data company and an SK Networks subsidiary, said on Oct. 14 that cumulative offline enrolment at its IT and AI education institute PlayData has exceeded 3,500. The company said PlayData runs hands-on training through team projects and mentoring by working professionals to help trainees apply AI to problem-solving and service implementation. PlayData said it has expanded its curriculum to data, software, cloud and AI.

Ncorea says Playdata students win top prize at 2026 KDT hackathon

Ncorea said a team including trainees from Playdata, an IT education institute it operates, won the top prize at the 2026 K-Digital Training hackathon. The team developed an AI vision assistance service to help people with night blindness and low vision walk safely at night, using on-device AI to identify surroundings and hazards on a smartphone. Ncorea also said it runs the Ncorea AI Campus and plans to open new camps in October.
